Thanks for all the info. I've been trying to find a published schedule of SOO flights. Does any one know of one? Thanks again.

SAI flys ACMI, we don't have set schedules per say. However, we do make regular runs to ICN, PVG, and HKG. All going through ANC. Lower 48 destinations include, LAX,ORD,DFW,ATL,IAH,and MIA. Also hve a couple of planes going from MIA to points south. Lets see, oh, we have a couple doing Europe to Africa and the Middle East and points east.

Hope this gives you an idea of the flying we do

If you had came over, my guess that it would have be less than six months before you would have probably been offered an upgrade. Hope the guys that didn't except the offer, haven't maked a mistake in the grand scheme of things.
I stand by my earlier statement that the -400 isn't coming to SAH anytime soon, to that end, this just in:

To all Southern Air Employees and Crewmembers:

Please be advised that we have postponed indefinitely the B747-400BCF program that was due to start in January of 2008, and do not have plans to restart the program any time soon. We will continue to provide our brand of low cost, high quality ACMI lift with our existing fleet of B747 Classic freighter aircraft through the next several years, until we begin the re-fleeting process with the B777F. To that end, we will be adding our fourteenth B747 Classic freighter aircraft in February, and it is our intention to operate this aircraft between Asia and Europe on an ACMI program.

Thank you all for your continued hard work as we make it through the final weeks of the peak season.

Best regards,

Brian Neff

President

I'm ready to collect on my friendly wager......

Anybody care to wager on those 777Fs too? How different would the numbers of folks goint to SAH from Cargo 360 if this announcement had been made on October 18th?

I totally agree. I also like strip's idea of one last bash at the bar in ANC. Gotta see if 301 is doing any JFK-ANC runs in Dec.

Many of the C360 pilots who signed on with Southern did so because they were told that they would be flying the 400. The timing of this announcement is, to say the least, not very good...

Slinky, I think that you and Strip should check out the December rotations and plan to stage a rolling party up in Anc for a few days. I'll help fund the Admin!
