You are classless. The only fair thing to do is merge a 3-1 merge. Your top three to our one since you guys were three times the size, but DOH probably would of been acceptable, but you guys are comically trying to change our DOH dates. Every company has their own method of developing DOH. The practice at Cargo 360 was done way before any talks of merger it just so happened to benefit 2 Cargo 360 classes.
I can't believe this was even attempted how ridculous. No wonder ......Biting my tongue...

It was a joke Clearleft. See the
.It doesn't matter to me how the DOH is determined, it doesn't affect me.
One does have to wonder how you at C360 would have wanted the seniority list concocted if SA crews had been moved over to your certificate.

We have to get over this and quickly. These two airlines do not belong to us!
We are but a part of the deal. As a recent new-hire, I am affected by the seniority list issue. But, realize this, we work at the pleasure of the employer.
Oak Hill has bought two train sets and we are the kids playing with them. They have put the sets together to cover more surface and create better combinations. The SA guys were playing with the set that had the most pieces. The C360 guys with the smaller set. If we don't figure out how to play well together, our adopted "Daddy", may impose rules, we won't like.
Working together, (nobody gets everything) we can work as a force to make things better for all. No merger ever has been without pain for the people who do the work for the companies. Our industry has been littered with the remains of good careers, due to mergers, buyouts and bankruptcies. Most of us have ridden at least one of these horses into the ground.
At this point we all seem to have a job!

This actually only hurts a handful of people at C360. But the point is to play fair.

C360 are getting doh or better, with doh being defined as when a pilot starts class. c360 pilots with less than a year are given doh based on class date.
c360 pilots with more than 1 year are getting a better deal; with doh being defined as when they accepted employement,( sometime a date months before class date) Making these pilots more senoir on the list than sa pilots using only class date. Seems like a good deal, Look at the deal Pan-am was given by Delta, aa vs twa...ect.
doh or better, I'd taken that in my last merger in a heart beat.

What's the latest? Any C360 folks taking the SAH offer. I guess the side letter at SACG passed, so things are moving fwd. When do the C360 guys start SAH training if they take the offer. I heard that the first airplane was changing certificates on 1 Dec.

Yes, I hear that too. But then I get contradicted by someone else saying that everything is pushed back a month. I heard that the Feds approved C360's acft to be under SAI Ops Specs too. Currently I think management at C360 is working feverishly to come up with a schedule for transition. Did you hear about the SAI acft that had to return to ICN dumping fuel because of INS problems?

Last I heard on transfering airplanes was the 1st one was suppose to come over on the 1st of Dec. But that was a month ago.

Wouldn't suprise me. Had one with Littons the other week that was terrible. Was able to get manual updates and limped into ANC. The plan was at one time that all the planes would get FMS/GPS, but that obviously has not happened yet.
That's funny. In the mettings Tom Gillies had with the C360 pilots. I asked him point blank about the outdated Carousel and Littons. He told me, in no uncertain terms that every plane in the SAI fleet had GPS navigation at this moment.
So, did he lie to me, or is he just that clueless that he dosn't know what his fleet has?
