Just out of curiosity where does it say ANC FO?

It says on the online app. It used to be SDF second officer. I remember them commenting on it during the interview and they may have changed it then...

OK on my app, under the position column it just says First Officer, thats probably a bad thing, huh?(Got a pool letter, guessing I am still in the deep end?)

Next to the position is the location and that is where mine says ANC.

It's true that poolies had to re-interview in the past but I believe it only happened once; also most were in the pool for several years as there was no hiring going on. I heard that some of them managed to get violations and even suspensions of their certificates while in the pool which is why they were rejected the second time around. I hope every one of our poolies gets to join our ranks really soon…

On a sad note – I noticed UPS won’t be attending the November AirInc seminar in Atlanta. Since UPS resumed hiring this might be the first AirInc job fair they won’t be attending which makes me believe the rumors of a hiring stop might be true…

I can't personally confirm this, but from those that I spoke with, the last AirInc conference was a waste of time if you wanted to see UPS. UPS didn't take resumes and just told applicants that all they, the applicant, can do is hope the computer pulls them out.
