Again, We have the power. We're not overstaffed if we use our sick and vacation. Last figure I heard (6 years ago), the majority of the pilots didn't even use half their sick time a year. I'm sure its about the same now. If your sick don't fly and call in sick. too many times I've flown (including myself) with a guy thats coughing and sneezzing away. Don't use it illegally but if your sick , call in Sick!!!!

It's my understanding the company gets tax breaks with the B-Plan. The question is, will the IRS honor those tax breaks with the new age 60 rule.
At Union meetings last spring/summer, DW said the B-Plan is part of our CBA and cannot be terminated without negotiating with the membership. We should be able to drag this out for awhile!!!!

I am not saying all feel this way, but, I sure see a lot of posts where folks imply that we will be giving things up. Boy, I think we have given enough up already! Sometimes we talk/act like a dog that has been beaten down.

I "think" he flew draft while he was on paid union trip removal (he was supposed to be negotiating our FPA contract as NC chairman!). The version of the story I heard said the VP of Flight Ops called the union and asked if they knew about it!*?
