She's wiped out! She skied 13 days in the last 15. Ski school 9am-3pm, ski with mom and dad 3pm-4pm. She'll be level 5 next time out. And btw, that's momma, not me!

Well, now's your chance. Want to be 60 and have no options but work? Not me fella's. There's Grand Kids to enjoy, a wife to chase (full time), fish to catch, races to attend, places to go (not during work), boats to drive, planes (small) to fly, all on the retirement dime. I don't like the actuarials after 60 at all. if I can....I'm going at 55-58.........out.
Amen brutha!

Think what it would be if we didn't have global warming.

Of course! I just get tired, like SubicPilot, of the sense of entitlement out of the younger pilots. It's amusing to (metaphorically of course) watch them puff up indignantly when their chain gets yanked. I just hope I don't have to listen to another 10 years of whining about what I do (within the law and the CBA) with respect to my retirement.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a lonely 10 years, though. Most guys aren't going to want to go get a beer or eat dinner with someone who has such a smug and condescending attitude.

And I don't think it's a "sense of entitlement". It's the lack of humility and your failure to acknowledge that, in the eyes of guys junior to you, your good fortune comes at their expense. Maybe it's time to lighten up a little on the smugness and stop "yanking chains"?

Yeah, like when you listed the really "FUNNY" rules about pants fitting and walking instead of shuffling and pics of great grand children or the joke about the difference between a dog and an f/e? Let those of you who have not sinned.................

Yes, there is a difference. I published a joke, and he and you appear to relish rubbing the junior guy's faces in your good fortune, and their misfortune. Maybe you not being able to see the difference and not being able to laugh at the joke, is part of the larger problem that many of the over-60 guys will have with those junior to you.

And for the record, I don't have any problem with anyone staying past 60 who is trying to get to 25 years.
