I honestly can't believe all of the petty bickering I read on this forum! What a bunch of tools you all sound like!
This very divisive issue was delivered to us all wrapped up with a pretty bow by our beloved Union. ALPA national, and DW's crew, fast-tracked this age 60 thing against the majority of it's membership! And under the guise of "...it's gonna happen anyway so we need to be on board so we can include our language."
Yea, language like bringing the over 60 crowd BACK into the front seats.
Rather than whine and moan at the over 60 guys, why don't some of you write your block rep in protest to being ignored and express your outrage at them? If we don't make a stink, they are gonna continue on their own program without your input.
And for the F/O and S/O types who seem to think the Captains all benefited somehow from this; I would never have bid Captain if I would have known I'd be stuck on the bottom of the list for years to come.

So f/o's upgrading to Captain, as far as I know, didn't have to produce their class I medicals until their orals. What if the class I expires and becomes a class II in the period from now until training commences? Will they be removed from the training letter?
