Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to it!

Heard that perhaps a total of 7 were hired this last interview group. Not for sure though...

Are they pretty hard on the 3000 hours total or are they flexible if you have 1700 total with 1200 being PIC in all jet?

Must have been one of three gigs...... I'm thinking, USAF, USMC or USN

Not sure. I think everyone in the interview group recently had at least twice as much as the mins, i.e. 6,000 TT and probably 2,000 PIC turbine or more.

Doesn't hurt to send them a resume.

USN fighter. F/A-18 mostly, but over 300 in F-16s as an adversary also. What about flight time conversions? Unfortunately those numbers are with a .3 conversion that UPS and Southwest allow.

Yeah, they worst that could happen is they toss my resume. I need my ATP first. That should be coming this weekend.

They are saying "no" if you don't sent it in. Good luck.

We've been told that it's a hard requirement.

Do they have a time conversion for mil pilots? I'm sitting at 2400 TT and 1500 PIC al turbine.

Thanks,

AggiePilot

I'm not aware of any official policy on conversions at WOA, but I'd use .3/sortie and be prepared to "show your work" if asked, and since you'll most likely use some sort of spreadsheet to do it, I'd work it both ways. Get that ATP done and I'd think about doing the FE written as well, it's easy enough.

Full disclosure, I didn't use a conversion since I had >3K/1K hours without it. I am inherantly lazy like so many pilots, and the question didn't come up.
