Word is straight from the CP. 767s will be in addition to DC-8s. Well into the future they may replace the 8, but not anytime soon.
Each 767 that shows up needs 10 pilots(5 crew ratio), 1-Jul, 1-Aug and 2-Dec. Long-term sounds like plans are a large fleet of 767s. With a higher crew ratio than the 8(5 vs 3), and since they are supposed to do a lot more international, there is a big need for pilots at ATI right now.
The more guys hired after me the better

I know the window's closed right now, but what are competitive quals for applicants these days? I imagine there are a lot of guys applying from the operators who've closed their doors, just wondering if I'd every have a snowball's chance, lol.

What kind of time and experience do you have? I would think(guess) that as the CP gets more apps(and he has a ton right now) he can be choosier, so yes it will likely get tougher, but they can't say no until you apply.

I'd PM, 130, but don't have the count yet.
Got about 3100TT, 1400 ME, 1550 Turbine (probably 1400 TPIC), and 2920 PIC. I know it's probably nowhere NEAR what they're getting, but never hurts to ask, right? Also have ATP and current FAR 135 C-550 SIC.
