85 mil for FY 2008 and 165-175 for FY 2009....You don't have better things to do on your 2 weeks at home besides memorize company presentations? For shame.
In other news, the Dark Overlord resigned today.
<squints>Is it really? Is there a glimmer of light way out there?

The thing that irks me is our workload and understaffing. Not talking about flight ops either. Whats even worse is our cutting staff and not adding people even temporarily, for the added work, while still showing projections of profit in the millions? An airline our size making maillions in profit and still trimming people?
I realized that like all airlines like us, they dont care. theyll just churn you, and hire someone else when your wore out.
Like towing with a 4 banger, revving for hours to pull a trailer, you just put in another one when the head blows on this one.
for shame

Remember the phrase "the devil you know..."

I agree with everything you said. Luckily, I get to go home soon and forget all about it for awhile.

For all of you out there wandering in the pool, waiting for the interview, etc.; below is the latest and greatest from the company as of today. In other words, it's not a rumor from a jumpseater who had coffee with one of my buddies at another city overnight after drinking beer. As we all know things are subjuect to change. So with that being said here you go:
Rumor: Rumor has it that Classic classes were cancelled and everyone put on the 400. Can this be confirmed? Also, can we get an update on the current and future staffing levels for flight crews. Thanks. </B>
Response: For now the Company has postponed any additional training associated with the two Classics recently returned from dry lease until at least the first of the year. We will continue to evaluate how much additional staffing, if any, will be required based on the overall utilization of our Classic fleet and market conditions for the ad hoc flying these aircraft generally do, including AMC demand.
Regarding future staffing levels, our current fleet plan for 2009 at Atlas calls for 11 Classics in revenue service and 13 -400s. Polar will be flying six -400s, once its sole Classic (aircraft N516) is parked in October. We will also be hiring and upgrading in 2009 in preparation for our 747-8 deliveries in 2010.

Hey Atlas folks... how do I get info on Jumpseating.... I know there is a website, but I don't have a specific date in mind... just want to get to know the layout on the ILN-ANC run. I called an 800 number that I was given and it requires a 6 digit employee #.... The email I had for the JS coordinator bounced back...
The website asks for an employment verification Department/Number??? is this left over prior to CASS? Is it still requited?
Any information would be appreciated... Thanks
