With all the furlough talk....Does anyone know if one took the move package to ANC, does one get any assistance with a move if one is furloughed? I sure im reaching here.

If they excess you before it happens then you should get it. Sounds like an excess is coming down first which is going to cost the company bookoo dinero with all the home purchases and move packages. This might be the thing that stops the whole deal again once they realize how much money it is going to cost to pull this whole thing off.

Trigg...if you're excessed first (i.e. ANC), you get move pacakge #1...then if furloughed (since the senority has been re-aligned), you are furloughed from MEM.

But, if furloughed from ANC...no move package...however, when recalled and your new base is different than ANC...you get a move package, I think #2

...just try to take the stick out of my eye

I don't believe the View/Add window has "closed" yet.

Many trips may get taken up in the monthly-make-up bid.

Check back Friday morning to see trips available for VTO assignment.

In 08-03, it was going to cost aprox. 500 million (between training and real estate buys) to execute. Now, with the addition of the 777 F/O's going so junior an excess bid will be even worse. When these cost's are taken in context (not 1 lb. of freight moved for .5 billion+ spent)..........I would still sleep well if I were a Junior ANC Capt., Purple Nugget, HKG Capt/FO or 777 F/O. Just one mans opinion..........

Uh, yeah. What Cujo said. I thought the guy was asking if he just got flat out furloughed in ANC.

Back of the napkin math.......training cost's (fairly accurate by analysis of bid) of 150 mil., real estate buy's estimated at 600 excessed at $450,000 avg house (yes a WAG)
