Well, in some respects the original post addresses a major flaw w/ our organization. If the company furloughs any IPA pilot and has non-union pilots flying trips then that is something worth striking over.
I do not think we can legally strike, but at the very least we should go to court/ trial ASAP.
Otherwise, we are letting them have their 2nd airline.

I say we also have them pay back the difference in what they made first year (probably over 100k) and what the rest of us did (26k)...
I've also heard that when a UPS manager takes mil leave, his salary is not reduced as is ours for each day of lost duty. Little steps...

Guys, no offense intended, but the post that started this thread is an embarrassment to the poster, the union and the membership. Please read the contract and the law pertaining to it before you get your stuff in a wad.
Archie has done a very good job of laying out the groundwork for you.

One thing is for sure,,,they are not good unionists.....
I would love to see them maneuver around an east coast construction union with their views.....They would have to look over their shoulder whenever they left the house.....

Classic and very funny, I think you may have watched "Hoffa" just a few too many times. This may be news to you, but we dumped that Teamsters mentality a very long time ago. Just about the last thing we need right now is a bunch of guys touting criminal behavior. Haven't you heard? The only organized crime now permitted is run by the gov.
