Default IPA UPS problem solved !!!

Here is the simple solution. If we are so unified this will work. If not then this place is a piece of crap just like every other 121. Please note I am in the furlough pool.

Here it is:

Have our fearless leader of the IPA make 1 concession/deal to the company.

After we staple the 200 flying managers to the bottom of the IPA seniority list then and only then will we furlough. If UPS does not go for it then 100% of the IPA pilots should strike/call in unfit to fly etc.....

Lets see UPS fly the system with 200 pilots.

This is so simple and we will learn who is a real union pilot and who is not. Serving food to these guys after all is said and done will be fun.....

Forgive me for my ignorance....does UPS fall under the RLA?

If so, the above could quite possibly be the dumbest idea ever.

Great idea, except the union doesn't run the company.

How about this one as long as we are exploring fantasy scenarios. UPS relocates to Dubai or Switzerland to escape unions, high corporate taxation, and government imposed restrictions on their operation and then they fire all US workers and begin a purely overseas based operation.

I'm betting frustration and happy hour has inspired our friend.

I guess I am just radical. It would work though. I guess you are not a union person. Because if 100% were onboard then UPS would have no option other then to staple the managers or else very few boxes would move.

I say we go for it...........but how can we when the leaders are in bed with the company. I am not afraid of being fined or arrested for this. I am more afraid of the private deals between BM and the company.....I am going to lose my job anyway...I say go down with a fight. Unity or die....

if 3000 pilots walked off the job they would be forced to listen to them. Even our prezident is talking to the taliban now......

Why is it that pilots always feel like they have to give in....I am tired of this crap

That is what all those people over at Haliburton were thinking too. Haliburton is now Dubai based.

I can understand that many of you are frustrated, but mob rule isn't going to work, and you would do well to remember that the union isn't paying your salary(with few exceptions).

I am by no means anti union, but many of you don't really understand what a union is, what function it serves, or how it relates to each of us and the company.

I suspect this may be a contributor to your problem. You can't even see that your proposal is a rant with no possible basis in reality.

You have made the mistake of assuming that all benefits that accrue to you are entirely derived from a union and give no credit whatsoever to the company that employs you. This is fairly common, and I don't hold it against you, it may be a product of government schooling.

Great example jungle! Except for the teeny-tiny detail that they can't outsource the small parcel operation. It would be problematic to deliver those packages from the MI.

Nice try though, you anti-union, dues paying unionist!
