So basically all the junior people that were in ANC, got displaced to the FE panel, will be back in ANC. I wonder if some of them even flew a trip as FE besides IOE.

This company sure does waste a lot of money on training it seems.

You are right. If you we on the Panel and the most junior, you will be in ANC, and for some, in ANC again.

They love to say training doesn't cost them anything. It is a fixed cost since they have instructors on salary, own the sims and buildings.

Until you want/need additional training ... then its money and time wasted !

Consider it job security. They more of us in training at any given time, the more they need on property to maintain regular line flying.

So if I'm reading the bid right, 15 Captains somewhere in the system are going to lose their seat? There are 30 DC-8 Captains (in this particular bid) that need to be realigned, but only 15 made vacancies...is that correct?

I just hope my old friend who actually lives in ANC and loves it can get a window seat back home. Hope this works out well for some of the rest of you as well...

I would say that if he was at or near the bottom of the list, he could get a seat in ANC.
