Gone, as in storage ? Gone as in sold ?

Look at how long they held onto the DC-8s.

I doubt even UPS would be stupid enough to make available a desirable freighter airframe that its largest competitor is acquiring in large numbers ...

Rumors on the B&G are that some of the oldest 757's will be retired as the new 767's arrive.

Maint. friend of mine said the PW will be next to go as the new 76's arrive. This may just be a negotiating tactic, but this is what is being said to the Maint. guys and gals.
