I do take exception to being told (imply) I am not a good union member by some people who have no official function other than to read tea leaves and interpret what ALPA policy should be.
As for 4.a.2.b, clearly that is something that needs to and will be addressed in the next contract. It's clear from the membership side and our leadership has made it clear that it will be addressed as well in their communications. Do I think it's a good thing to talk about potential solutions to it right now? Probably not, but in far greater part because of the fact that we are still in 4.a.2.b with an active grievance playing out then because of the effect it would have on the NC's job.
I guess we will have to disagree here, what a shock.

So when talking about contract improvemnets (what is this thread about again) one should not talk about 4A2b, FDA LOA, or ALPA. Got it. Is it OK to talk about contract 2006 or is it to much "red meat". Maybe we should just talk about the baseball when agreeing to disagree about contract 2010.
