Talking The proper perspective ... viewer discretion!

This whole FedEx scene is like a broken record ... like Ground Hog Day ... same s%*^ , different day.

I propose many of the changes discussed in this thread need to be fixed, but the only reason I'm in this freakin' racket of a profession is found right here:

YouTube - Jerry Maguire - "Show me the money" sequence

Now I suggest all you touchy feely types stay on the sidelines this next go-around cuz I think it's gonna get bloody.

SHOW ME THE MONEY ... PERIOD:

So true. The stories of lore about how Fed Ex was such a great place to work are a nice trip down memory lane.

It's not that way anymore. The days of going the extra mile are OVER. It's just business now, as our SCP pointed out in an FCIF awhile back.

Do the job within the limits of the contract. That's what we get paid for, and that's what I do. Nothing more to it that that.

I'm sure these guys in the puzzle palace in Mempho understand that if you screw someone over a few times, they lose interest. I don't expect that to be a surprise.

Once again, the company needs our cooperation, in order for them to proceed with their grand plans. The question is, do we just give them whatever they need, without getting something in return, or do we actually use the leverage that we have. Again.

Well said, I feel exactly the same way.

This gig is just a job, that's it. And let's be honest, most of the US workforce feels the same way. When was the last time you heard :"I get to go to work today"? Probably never. We're not the Japanese.

"I have to go work today".

nuf said.
