Hey! I thought all captains were Sky Gods. Why would you need "training" anyways? You shouldn't need it....LOL j/k

Freightpuppy, if they schedule me for the right seat, it would require a NOTAM.

MEF, JA2, continue to stuff lines, max out VTO's, Maximum reschedules, Max reserve flying and let's not forget UPS will outsource during peak to the maximum allowed by the IPA contract.

Sadly I don't think UPS is even close to the limits of what they can do to keep the A/C and boxes moving. Until flights and boxes don't make it everyday in every fleet UPS wins so far the score is 92-0

UPS said 170 furloughs for 33 months would equal the MOU II savings. Think they can make it until February 2013? I don't think so!

On a positive note I did receive my retirement benefits package from UPS today with 20 plus years to go

He said it more than once. I even spoke with him after a couple of the events and asked him to clarify. He reiterated that May 23 there would be an injunction order filed. That is exactly what he said.

I have done everything the Union has asked. Filed reports, MEF, Training issues......etc...etc. It is frustrating to see all this JA2, MEF and all the other "management" flying going on, while guys are on the street. I mean every airline seems to be hiring and expanding. We seem helpless while management here is making a land grab.

And yes, BT has toned down his rhetoric considerably. As a matter of fact I have not heard anything from the EB for some time. I guess there is a lot of that "legal" stuff going on.........

That's funny! Well, let's hope they don't then.

Go ahead and furlough. We will give our guys a stipend rather than take a pay cut. Insert sound of crickets. Please don't lecture me about the Cobra deal - very thankful for it by all means but not what the mighty BT was talking up while running for office. Injunction - They got us on that one. Haven't heard a peep about the priority 3 issue either. My guess is another swing and a miss. So far lots of vibrato and zero results. But hey, the banners were really cool.

UPS has been playing hardball with unions, specifically the Teamsters since most of us pilots were either in diapers or a twinkle in their Daddy's eyes. It's a shame that many of us actually believe we can play the game half as well as the company does.
