"Yea your right on!!!! We need an old time ALPA contract and pilot group that existed at Flying Tigers!!! No draft, not formal VLT system there, but it was common for people to fly on their days off at 100% not 150% pay rate. Not only that if you were below RLG/BLG you did not get payed extra until you exceeded that number. Why do you want a new contract? Greed? Why do you expect a raise? Greed? Why do want to upgrade? Greed? Your just one GREEDY SOB!! Are you?"
Web definitions for greed:
excessive desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves
Sounds like the guys that want to extend Age 60 to me! Pull up the ladder boys I've got mine! MGP = greed!!!

"Problem is that most ALPA members getting close to age 60 lost what they had. ALPA says "Sorry guys, we know you have been loyal, dues paying ALPA members for 30-35 years, we failed to protect your pension, except for those employed in Herndon. Did you old guys really think that ALPA could, would protect your pension? Just pay your dues to the last day, shut up, and enjoy your PBGC payment?"
So what's your excuse MGP? Plain old greed I guess...

"Excuse for what?"
Let's see..none of the above situations apply to you but you still want to change Age 60. So I ask again, what's your excuse? How long have you been a wide body Capt, with full retirement and benefits? Surely you don't compare your situation with those unfortunates at the majors do you?

MGP..
You skipped one. When you retire at age 60, how long will you have you been a wide body Capt? When you say you won't have "full retirement and benefits unless you work to age 66", what exactly do you mean? Do you mean you will have 25 years instead of 30 like 90% of the rest of us or will you not make 20 years? I am curious to see just how bad you think you have it. My guess is you will not be getting any sympathy from our brethren on the other side..
