The #'s that the company tosses around for negotiations starting next year for pension buyouts will in large part determine who retires early. A lot of the more senior captains lost what they had in their 401k's. If they could recoup a portion of that, anybody want to place bets on who bails early?

I thought that the pre-IPO guys had a small fortune in stock options.

The age 65 plus the pre-IPO wasn't enough.
