Judas Priest! The topic that just keeps on going...
It has been repeated a THOUSAND times in plain english on this and other threads: Either you have a FE certificate in your back pocket (that means you have been trained, taken a checkride, and have been found duly qualified to act as an FE), or You have a piece of paper with the results of your FEX written exam on it with a date of exam less than two (2) years from the date of your application (or hiring) at FedEx. Thank you. I feel better already. |

Flyer, If you've got the FE rating and you don't know that you then don't need to retake the FEX test, you shouldn't be allowed continue in the process. However, that said, if it were up to me, I'd hire you immediately, based entirely on your Avatar. Now those are some beautiful...... eyes:D
JJ And yes her "eyes" are beautiful aren't they.......:D |

Welp, my app is in. Me and five gazillion others! :)
In the Flight Hours section, it seems that you're only able to list either military aircraft, or civilian airplanes with a MGTOW of 12,500 or higher. That's fine, although of course it doesn't include the smaller aircraft experience. I'm assuming that's how it's supposed to be, and I'm not missing something obvious (the proper totals are listed on my resume). |
Yeah, this is not a new thing.
I think it's some version of the King Air that is less than 12.5# that caused guys endless problems in the past. |
I am encountering the same difficulty. A large chunk of my PIC Turbine is <12,500. Should I put it in the 12,5-40 row and explain it in the notes or have I just wasted $75?
|
This 12,500# restriction will hurt all those military T-6 instructors (but that was single engine time anyway)!*?

Good luck to all those that apply. I am one of the 15 bazillion guys who are applying. It kinda feels like the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.....everyone is hoping for the golden ticket!
|
is the website open yet? or is it only to people who previously applied? is it on the regular fedex site because nothing is there - thanks
