Everything is relative. A class size in 1994 was over 35 new hires in one class. And multiple classes over 20.

I don't recall having that large a class in '94. To be sure, they were larger than the 10-12 size currently training. The largest may have been close to 30...most were in the low 20's. They hired about 380 (some of whom left for aa and dal when recalled and united when hired) but not sure how many are left...

I will have to bow to your memory...my '94 braincells have taken a huge beating over the years....
Wonder if we will ever get to hiring that many in a year...hope it happens and they keep the hiring spigot wide open! Give some of these poolies a chance to dry off and enjoy some free beer!
