This should be a deal breaker all by itself.

PS yes you are correct about the '99 onset of the contract nowithstanding the FCH
That's bull****. If they could do it before, they would do it if they needed to. No questions asked. Now because they have this sentence in the contract they are going to make it policy? Man are you smokin some good stuff. Go ahead, vote no based on some theory that they are all evil and are just trying to screw you. You must be a real jewel to live with....

Default extensions and min days off

pretty easy for me to protect min days off if I am a line holder.....I just drop the extra days I don't want to fly. And the overage pay makes it easy to drop a bit more time. Shoot, pay me double for a 2 extra days and I'll try and drop 4 later just to keep the pay equal.

And for a reserve guy, once you get up to RLG it's a whole lot easier to make those last few R days go away.

Default add on

Even better, TA states once you meet or exceed RLG, remaining R days will be dropped.

25.M.1.g If a reserve pilot has met or exceeded his RLG, his remaining R-day(s) in the bid period shall be removed without pay consequence.

Seems as if the company extending me, gets me more time off later in the month.....or more money if I get shacked last Friday of the month.

I once was extended technically for 4 days. Got 2 days at 150% and 2 days at 200% plus an extra duty period pay for each additional day. Ended up getting 41 extra hours of pay when I actually was supposed to be working the whole week anyway doing hub turns. My Monday one day trip ended up being a 5 day trip. I dropped the Tuesday thru Friday trips each day rather than being "subbed" so that I could collect the overage. Just wished I had been in a wide body rather than the Boeing.

Well according to oilpres you can stand by for every trip to do that. Man, would that suck? I'm not voting no, I'm voting hell no!

O.K. Forrest. Now read the current contract and the TA. They can extend you for a month if the want to now without your permission. With the TA, they can only extend you for two, (2), days unless you agree to extend further. I know your mom must have told you and oilpress you are special so Ill give you a couple of weeks to figure out that this is a gain.

Exactly where in the current contract does it say they can extend you a month? I can't find that anywhere and have searched several times. A section reference would be nice.....
