Default Return or exchange

Bought a watch for my dad from Jammy. Nice watch, nothing wrong with it, but not dad's cup of tea. Has anyone returned a watch before? Will Jammy give you a refund or store credit?

Just went to Jammy's and had a great time. He taught me a few things about watches...we looked at a ton of them., had some tea. Got a very nice replica. His prices are up, but the quality was way better than PVG.

And after all that stress.... got a massage just down the street at a place he recommended. All in all...very successful.

I've got a couple knock-offs in my drawer. Once I realized that the kind of places I hang out in I was likely to get my arm cut off for a fake "Lolex", I decided the drawer was the best place for them.

Wouldn't that be the ultimate tragedy, getting cut or shot by some lowlife to get what he thinks is a 5k watch... maybe I'm actually getting some of that wisdom thing which comes with old age... or it's just the waning of the testosterone....

Maybe the wiser thing to do would be to wear the watches, but stop hanging out in places where you might get your arm cut off. Just a thought...

Yea, good point, but how much fun would THAT be. If it's one or the other, the watches can stay in the drawer, LOL.

Just had a very positive experience with Jammy. Wife's replica had a tiny blemish. Returned to K and was back on my wife's wrist in two weeks. Man stands by his work. Very satisfied customer.

Went to Jammy's last week and was very shocked at the price increase over the last 2 years..... If you know what you are looking for you can get the exact same quality for 1/4 the price in shanghai or shenzen. If you would like a top quality "replica" it is now over 440 US dollars while just 2 years ago it was only 190 for the exact same product. Jammy is charging 440 US for a Rolex GMT2.. Just as comparison.. Bought the same in Shenzen for 100... With that being said Jammy provides excellent continuity of service. I have bought 4 watches from him but none recently because of the high price.

The biggest issue I've had with all of his watches is the band. I have returned watches to him for repair 3 time for this issue and one time for the mechanism not worknig. Only had problems with 2 of the 4 watches, so with my record you run a 50% chance of a return for repair (which he will do by mail BTW).

Maybe too much info, but 2 things to take out of it. He is very trustworthy and will do any repair or replace (even by mail). Second is that his price no longer is that what we expect of a "fake" copy..

SunB....

Are the watches in PVG as good in the quality dept??? If so, where? IE Which specific shop? 580 or Museum of S&I?

I have looked at 580 in PVG and was offered a couple of watches under 100, but the quality was less than that of Jammys. I stood firm and they went and found another of higher quality for the same price. It was acceptable, but I really didn't have any confidence in it nor did I have the selection. On the other hand, the guy at the 580 "golf" shop on the 4th floor was able to get my watches repaired... I busted a crystal by dropping my bag on it. It only cost like 10 US to get a replacement glass..
