Fedex owns the airplanes. If (MAC) so much as farts funny, FedEx will take their airplanes and go to another managing company.
They can shift flights and airplanes to any of their "regionals".
Like from MAC to Empire and visa versa.

Almost no chance whatsoever. We (FedEx) own the planes and hire companies to fly them for us. Waaay cheaper than to pay the ALPA contract rates for the main line to "regional" pilots.
Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge Mountain Air pilots (as well as our other contractors...) have little competitive edge for hiring at Big Purple. Sorry, but it is easier to deal with the truth than innuendo and hopes.....
Good luck!
