1. I had a carry in conflict trip that was turned into sub. Do I still get leveled for it even if I either accept the sub or turn it down?
2. The original trip was a front end deadhead if I get an OB can I get disruption pay or do they have to give me a front end deadhead?
3. Also if I dont get a trip during the window is that time in sub considered work, or rest, ie could I fly another trip say 6 hours later?
Thanks

2. I think the only obligation for trip type in sub is when it departs relative to the original trip (i.e. don't have to fly an am trip if you had a pm trip). A DH isn't required but you do keep the bank from the original DH.
I'm pretty sure disruption only applies to changes that happen after you block out on a trip.
3. Since the existence of sub in your calendar would preclude you from picking something up 6 hours after it ended, I don't know how you would actually accomplish that. Once the sub ended with nothing assigned, it would be difficult to pick up a trip that reports 6 hours later. Most open time gets assigned by skeds well outside of 6 hours prior.
Perhaps skeds could answer these questions. These kind of nuances aren't really spelled out in the contract.

I was thinking if I dont get used of grabbing a standby they dont fill. So I dont know if sub is considered working or not for crew rest. If I called scheduling with these questions it would take hour to get "I dont know see what happens"

I would say that it you're on call for that period of time, then it counts as part of your duty day, just like reserve. You would then need a 12 hour buffer to pick up a standby. However, that doesn't mean the computer is programmed that way in regards to Sub.

To the OP, give it a try and let us know what happens.

You might be right. It all depends on whether they thought to program that into the system. It's definitely worth a try.

If you turn it down after that deadline, then you lose trip guarantee and it's all just general make-up.
