I would be conserned about World Holding's purchase of North American and the possible wip-sawing of the two groups resulting in a pay rate race to the bottom for the flying of the 747s. I have the impression that management is rather heavy handed. I think they may follow Atlas's lead, which would not be good for any employee.

World Airways has never participated in the Race to the bottom and never will.

Sorry to go off the subject, but has management told the R&F what aircraft you will be getting to replace the 3 MDs you're leasing from UPS? I have heard those A/C will be on the conversion line in 07. TIA

Who is the current CP at World? Who is the best person to send the resume to? Thanks to any "World" pilots...

OK Nada, then do be suprised when North American under bids you and gets the lion share of the flying.

We have had the 747 rate negotiated for at least a decade. That airframe will go to WOA and not NAA.

Initially 3 747-400SF(converted pax -400s), the airframes have already been located.

Disclaimer: as with any company, I will believe it when it is on the ramp with a squashed pumpkin on the tail.

When NAA starts to make a profit, maybe we will be worried. Not holding my breath. I second that WOA has never been part of a race to the bottom and never will.

What is the opinion around there as to why World bought North American, and why they continue to operate them seperatly. The scope factors involved with that would cause me to loose sleep at night
