Yes, I was glad to hear from Pilot #4. If everything she says is true then hopefully she'll get her job back with back pay and then some. However, I would think that if these guys who are over there are wanting to start a fund, they could shed a little light on the other guys circumstances. So far, not one person has said they know for a fact these guys had their families living with them the whole time in HKG. I can understand if they don't want to post anything themselves, but someone over there certainly should know the details. I would just like to hear from them.

And "Seriously dude", do what you want with your money and don't be telling me what to do with mine. I didn't say I planned to contribute or not, and I certainly am not telling anyone else whether they should. I was simply asking some guys who should know the details to enlighten us.

 

I'm all for supporting fellow pilots, however I do not think it's appropriate to vote on or authorize a mandatory assessment....big or small. The MEC did the right thing here imo.

Thank you for setting up the paypal account to support our HK crewmembers. Hopefully the issues will get resolved and these pilots will be vindicated and get their jobs back.

 

So let me see if I got this right. You feel that these 4 are guilty until proven innocent (much like management does) and only once someone convinces you that pilot #4 was telling the truth and that the families of pilots 1-3 were in HKG enough to satisfy you and management's definition of "residency" will you then consider forking over the cost of a Starbuck's to support your fellow pilots. Brilliant.

Where do we find such people. Totally unsat.

 

How the heck did you get that from my post? I have no idea if they are innocent or guilty. That's why I'd like to hear their side or from someone who is familiar with their situation. So far I haven't heard anyone dispute the company's allegations against pilots 1-3 in detail. That's disturbing to me. I don't know if they actually got caught with their hand in the cookie jar or not. I'd like to hear more, that's all.

Most Defense Lawyers , including ALPA, will advise the accused to keep silent
until it is over, as most of the time Pilot's mouths are their worst enemy.
I assume they have been advised to make no comment.

#4 has Chosen to Speak. I hope it is on Advice from and through her Attorney.

Respect the privacy of #1-3 as they are innocent until proven otherwise.

Yea, I get it. They don't want to say anything themselves in case they slip up and say something unintended and it gets used against them later. However, that doesn't keep anyone else who knows their situation in detail from disputing the companies allegations in detail. I know nothing about any of the 4's situation. If someone on this Bog claims to be in the know and post facts (Positive or Negative) under a Screename, are you going to believe it?

BTW stuff posted on here usually will not help the defendant in their arbitration.

So far all I've heard is they are innocent, but no details. JB offered some details on PFC. Maybe they're true, maybe not. But since a lot of folks keep saying they're not true, maybe they can provide some details. Until then I'll keep waiting until more details emerge.

I supported those folks then ( without much details) I'll support these 4 now.

Sent my $25 just like I did for the fired Captains. Wrong to ask for $1 each, not enough money. Standing up against the company for us, priceless. $25 per month seems like small potatoes.
