Default Fdx trip swap

Is there any other trip swap forum out there beside what's on alpa? I just looked at posting a trip I am hoping to swap - keep getting "insufficient reserves" on vips... Was trying to drop it to pick up smaller trips. Anyway, I looked at alpa site and last activity in my seat was last year. Is there another, more active forum out there? Thanks.

Triptrade.blogspot.com

Also not very active depending on your seat.

Good luck!

Go ahead and try the ALPA site. Many folks are set up to receive the RSS feeds. Just make sure you include base, aircraft and seat in the title for best results.

yeah it's a shame - was much better when it was the old non-ALPA, privately run site - even that site didn't get a ton of activity but multitudes more than the one on ALPA - seriously who wants to go through the entire log on process of our ALPA website only to use a really lousy message board??

Default Thanks.

Thanks guys... I sure do miss the old swap site that used to be out there! Good to know about the feeds with the alpa site. Maybe I'll try that next time. Surely other guys want to make scheduling improvements as well and are getting insufficient reserves...

Thanks again.

The "old swap site" -- pilotswap.net -- is essentially the ALPA trip trade side. The same guy who ran pilotswap.net (Pete H., Safety Committee Chairman) migrated the site to the ALPA site when he began volunteering in the Communications Committee. The last time I checked the URL, it redirected to this website. But when I checked it just now, it redirected to a page that looks like this:

The functions of PilotSwap have

been moved to the trip-trade pages of

He stopped posting here (as boxav8r) after this: FDX MEC Recalling Chairman?

Kipper asks a simple trip trade question and you have to go political! The moderators need to remove your post. Classless!

Actually, he's the one who went political, but that's irrelevant.

I was just offering an explanation of why the guy who did all the work to make pilotswap.net such a valuable resource, and then imported it to the ALPA site and improved it to make it even better for us to use, doesn't post here to explain it any more. He used to talk about pilotswap.net here on APC, just like the guys who support the bidding software and personal assistant software talk about their products here on APC. Every other post made under that UserName was about PilotSwap.net. Now he doesn't.

What if we get the company to provide a swap bulletin board integrated in to the new VIPS calendar and trip trade pages? That is where the social networking part of this needs to be, not on any third party site.
