You're in another section of this forum claiming 2 major airlines hired you without a degree which isn't accurate. Not to mention, it has no bearing on present day and those attempting to get hired at a major airline without a degree (which is what that thread was about).

What is accurate is that based on your own admission, you couldn't get hired at your current airline today.

I hope I don't have to go out and get a degree to keep my job Captaining the Triple.

We are the ones who BUILT this airline into what it is TODAY.... An airline that YOU wanted to get on with. One that EVERYONE wants to get on with! It was mine and the other "old timers" blood, sweat and hard work that built Federal Express into FedEx. OBTW... You're welcome.

Pretty good case of revisionist history and delusions of grandeur - it's amazing how awesome you are.

Back to reality..... I think de-regulation, a long broken pax business model and the 9-11 attacks had a lot more to do with the desirability of FedEx as an employer than you old boogers. We gonna "flick" you any time soon, Mr. brain?

If this is true, my heart goes out to all affected. It's a shame to see an airline that's been around since 1975, cease operations.

I suspect MEMdouche is an alzheimer patient in a Nursing Home (maybe in Memphis?) that read an aviation book once ... please don't feed the troll

Sorry to hear about our Evergreen brothers and sisters, specially going into the holidays... Maybe MEMdouche's (that has a good ring to it Mayday) posts are of some solace during these times.
Seriously though, best of luck to all you guys and as someone else said, many airlines are in hiring mode now, and experience at Evergreen goes a long way.

Omni will be hiring at the beginning of the year. Both 767 and 777 seats as per the Chief Pilot. 767 side has better flying and the paycheck historically been low, but always on-time. Home basing and a good group of pilots to work with. The company has no debt, so the job might last a few years.
