FYI You would have been royally screwed (ie, working) in the same situation (regardless wether you had a single departure line or R days) under any PBS system. Keep that in mind if the subject ever comes up with your rep or another pilot.

and the JUNIOR guy ("poor sap" as you called them) was the guy/gal who's seniority could only hold a Secondary Line?
so, maybe, nothing "out of seniority order" occurred......
why is it assumed that someone bidding Reserve is always "junior" to anyone/everyone? never a$$-u-me.....just sayin'
