Although the bid does not close till Friday, there are only about 20 (out of 30 openings) people bidding the right seat of the 400, so it looks like new hires hired in 2007 could go to the right seat of the 400. Not to mention about 40 openings on the MD11 (ANC) dress warm boys and girls!

Do you guys know what type of flyig the -400 will do OTHER THAN crossing the Pacific?

By that I mean will there be intra Asia activities on the side?

I know the -11 sometime does HKG-CRK and such, just wondering if the -400 will get some of that too.

ANC-SDF initially, then pac rim starting first quarter 08. Eventually it will take over the round the world flights from the MD11. In 08 adding SDF-HNL-SYD-KIX-HKG-ICN-ANC

Default filling the slots

How does UPS intend to fill the 40 MD-11 FO ANC slots? Will it be with new hires in 2007 or the junior probationary pilots?

If they need to hire someone to sit side-saddle while those on the list upgrades to forward facing, just call.

Thanks,
J.S.

I finally received the "pool letter" today from UPS.....what a relief! It took them almost 4 weeks to the day after my interview to get that darn letter to my mailbox. Whew....I'm just happy and excited to be swimming in brown waters.
