Welcome to the club...you'll fit in well here on APC.

Just call your flight manager and ask them to put the drop in. Usually gets processed immediately.
Pretty good luck moving/dropping R days in ANC. Of course it's "over staffed" so that'll end soon enough.

"One of" does not constitute "one." There are other issues as well. Now I'm sorry, did you have anything constructive to add or are we done here? You obviously did not like what I wrote, but at least I tried to expound on the topic at hand, instead of just arbitrarily flaming.

You did say it is "one of" your issues, but here's how you finished it off:
You are right on one point. I don't have anything constructive to add...so, I also fit in very well on APC. We are like sisters Iwa!
Sorry for the diversion...I will refrain from being a comedian. I will continue to let those smarter than myself solve all of the FedEx problems while continuing to frequently misuse the terms "lose, loose, they're, there, their, too, to & supposed, etc..."

More specifically, scheduling SHALL use the above criteria. That is until a manager overrides accepted policy and locks down the system because they are unhappy. Situations that might cause this include: an uncovered trip had to be flown by a manager or too much (any?) draft has been recently generated or maybe just a bad hair day.
Yes, fleet CAs have helped many to immediately drop a couple of reserve days. I think the plan is to prevent us from becoming too unhappy with the reserve system. If it's so easy to override the scheduling computer it must be giving us penalty denial messages. So be nice to your fleet CA
What is really telling to me is management should know our issues working with scheduling but they brush it aside and claim they don't understand why we won't even consider PBS. Reasonable man theory, just culture. Those are concepts management floats out to us hoping we do more of what they want us to do. They in no way, shape or form affect their actions.

This has been part of an ongoing problem for the past almost three years on the AirBus ...........Where you cannot drop more than one R day or get a Bid line adjustment done to move R days, nothing ........... So, a quick call to Union and I was told this problem was given to the "Negotiating committee" ............. Huh ??? You mean we all get to pay these fees and we get this in return ??? So, I hope that Reserve was taken on seriously by the NC ................ We are witnessing a steady effort by Company to continue to ERODE our quality of life with the crappy flight schedules and other issues that go along with it ................ I hope the elected ones understand the impact this has on folks trying to get a balance between work and personal living .................
