I am thinking of bidding subic next bid if there is a slot. Need some info, where to live, do i have to be in subic, where are they going to move the pilots when they go to china, any info please.

You can live anywhere in the world that you'd like. But being junior, you might consider living in Subic. We've got guys living in Hong Kong, Thailand, China, etc, etc.
As for the China base, I'd not think that "they" would be moving the pilots anywhere. They will probably have a new base bid and follow that protocol. Good luck in your bidding. As they say on Ebay.

Driver8, here's what I'd do.
Go to the SFS seniority list and fire off about 3-4 emails to guys at or around your seniority level who are there. I would not think it would do you any good to talk to a senior SFS Capt or a guy that commutes from Peoria, unless of course you're going to commute from Ft. Wayne or something.
I think you'll get some better answers from guys who are there and of course they can answer the all important QOL questions.

Fastbid has an useful feature for guys who are considering a change of seat/domicile. You can set it to show only the lines you can hold. I'd look at that for a few months to get an idea of what you'll be flying.
