Reserve Leveling

If one drops r days to pick up a trip, does that trips credit hours count towards monthly reserve leveling?

Sect 4 of the contract just states that leveling is accrued when "assigned" a trip.

When assigned a trip while sitting reserve.
No other trips count.

That's exactly the way it reads, with the exception of language "specifically limiting" leveling to "trips assigned while on reserve"

Except for CIC trips flown the month you have a reserve line.

Technically, your trip would be make up status(voluntary) not a reserve assignment (assigned) so you aren't really assigned the make up but awarded it. When you put in for a make up, the crew notification reads "you make up request.....was approved/denied.....". When you get a trip on reserve, your crew notification reads "you have been assigned trip.... with a show time....."
