I was awarded line 2080 for March. I was immediately removed from the carryover trip (into April). I got this notification:
You have been removed from trip 109 beginning 28MAR14
due to carry-in conflict, 32-in-7
I had a carryover into March of about 15 hours. Any ideas why I was removed? The line was published - how does it have a 32-in-7 problem? I must be missing something. I didn't see notification until after business hours on Friday and conflict/input window closes early Monday.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

First, I think that according to FAR 121.483, the pairing was legal. There is no 32 in 7 for flag operations with an RFO. If you flew into the 29th, your 1st day would be the 29th. The seventh day would be the fourth of April. Your OAK-ANC leg was on the fifth, so all hour before the 30th wouldn't count against you for 32 in 7 for your 2 man flag operation.
I suggest you call contract enforcement and the sig to see about this. If they revised your pairing and you are no longer legal, you get trip guarantee. I think you should be getting paid for this, not sub or M/U.
Just how I read the contract and FAR's. Could be wrong.

I'm glad it worked out. But, warning, I can't help thread creep in this moment.
If someone, say JP, is gonna push PBS and claim he has a knowledgable and experienced staff to implement it, we're gonna have to see a lot more out of this motley crew. Right now the PIBS messages to do not
reflect reality.
No more amateur mistakes. Fewer secrets and holding of information. And much, much, much less lying.
When you make a mistake you can't hide in your little cubicle and hope it goes away.
