Default FDX trip removal question

I was awarded line 2080 for March. I was immediately removed from the carryover trip (into April). I got this notification:

You have been removed from trip 109 beginning 28MAR14
due to carry-in conflict, 32-in-7

I had a carryover into March of about 15 hours. Any ideas why I was removed? The line was published - how does it have a 32-in-7 problem? I must be missing something. I didn't see notification until after business hours on Friday and conflict/input window closes early Monday.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I see there is no capt or fo on that trip. Perhaps you were both removed. I wonder if that was built accidentally as an illegal pairing, and they had to remove both crewmembers? Either way, seems like a decent deal. Maybe you won't get subbed, or maybe you'll get subbed something less painful, and worse case, you get OTP.

This is not a sub event rather you have lost trip guarantee and that trip is no longer part of your march blg. Your only option is the view/add window to recover your hours. OTP is not an option. The carry in and the trip on your new line had the 32 in 7 when looking at the trips combined. The trip and line would have been built legally.

You are right - lost the trip, just makeup hours. I am ignorant on 32-in-7. Did my carry-in trip into March effect the trip at the end of the month? If not, the line was built wrong?

Not on a plane that has to worry about 32-7 too much, but what I understand is that you can not block 32 hours in a 7 day period. This trip does that. I think it fell through the cracks when it was made. I don't see how anyone can fly it without it being revised. Has nothing to do with your carry in. Unless they coded it wrong and you have too many block hours in a 30 day period.

So if that's the fact, how can they just drop it and put it in your makeup bank? Though I personally would rather use it for conflict makeup than go to my bank. But if the trip has to be revised or cancelled, wouldn't they have to put you on sub status? They can't just drop it and you're SOL.

Though I haven't looked closely at it, so I don't know if it was the trip itself or the conflict with the carry in trip, seems people have different ideas on the problem. One could always call crew futures, or whomever deals with that to confirm.

I don't see how a carry in trip can affect a carry out trip for a 32 in 7? That's 32 block hours in a 7 straight day period. Those trips would be on opposite ends of the month. Haven't looked at the line, but maybe they meant 100 in 30, although it does look like the trip in question does violate the 32 in 7.

It does not add after looking at your pairing, as I thought it was a simple carry in conflict. I suggest you call CRS futures ASAP and if they do not give you the help you need then call ALPA. If the pairing is illegal then you should not be forced into a CIC it should be a sub event due to legality IMHO. Weird, that is for sure!
