New FDX ALPA Lanyard.....
#1
Just wondering if anyone else has NOT received their new ALPA lanyard in the mail yet?
I just got home from a trip and fully expected to find one in my mailbox but no such luck. I'll be contacting the union first thing tomorrow but was wondering if others were still waiting as well.
Thanks, PT

For the record , I pulled my laynard out of the trash and wear it. The Union stated in the hub turn meeting we need to all wear them. Its hard to measure but from my observation only half are wearing it. My Union does speak for me!

My observation in MEM night hub turns this week was about a 90% wear rate
Of those who weren't, over half were wearing the current/standard ALPA lanyard
I saw very few military/college/fleet/plain lanyards
Hoping the whole team gets on board

I've not worn a lanyard for 5+ years - specifically because of a slingshot into the eye episode trying to load bags on an MD-11.
I am however wearing the new "give me a damn contract" lanyard - probably until I retire. I like the attitude it represents.
So,iIf you see me on the line 2 years after the next contract wearing it - you'll understand. For those that don't...i'll simply explain that Im getting a head start on the next contract that management is more-than-likely planning to delay also.

I'm not a huge fan of the normal ALPA lanyard because of the way it fits and sits against your chest, but I'm wearing the "Contract Now" lanyard! To me it's a sign that you're not flying Draft or Volunteer at the moment and understand why.
Getting an industry leading contract is in our hands now and forever...
