Does anyone know if you pass the phone interview you get asked for an in-person interview on the spot? Or do they have HR call later to offer that? Thanks.

For me it was about a week later and I received a phone call from someone in HR offering an interview.

Default Upgrade

Question... I understand that a lot of pilots are recent hires(in last 1-1.5 yrs.) and that things change rapidly, however, based on current anticipated growth and attrition rates, What would a realistic upgrade time be for a newly hired FO?

Magic 8 ball question!!

However last Captain award most junior was about 18 months on property. Also planned fleet size is double of what we have now with 4-5 744F's planned and 16 767's so given that, for the interim 12-24 months pretty quick.

As for attrition that comes from the couple of retirements per year, one or two moving to UPS / Fedex so basically none to count of (amazing what a new contract and pay will do!)

What is the best way to apply for the 747 FO position at Kalitta? The company website takes me to an "ADP" site which does not allow me to enter all the pilot information/qualif/experience etc. Any recommendations much appreciated.

Thanks

There is only one way to apply, and that's through the adp site. You have to upload a resume which should have your hours on it. You can also enter them into the skills field.

If anyone would be willing to share their recent experience, how long between applying on ADP and getting contacted by Kalitta Air's hiring folks?

Thank you.

I've heard rumors that the new interview testing programs are pretty much worthless. You end up with a group of socially awkward people who can take tests and that's about it. Has there been a wave of odd people hired within the last 6 months?? Lol... That must suck to be stuck with two dorks for 18 hours while operating as a double crew..
