The bottom line is all this discussion is nothing more than speculation as to the reason we have not been presented a contract. Maybe the reason a 20-hour duty day is a sticking point, is because the rest of the contract is not worthy of being sent to the membership. No trip rig, no duty rig and no way to get S.R. and scheduling out of our lives.
If I am to believe everything I have heard about this new contract, there is nothing to protect us from the corrupt way our lives are run. We bid a schedule with a hard line and we almost NEVER fly it, I have not flown my schedule in almost two years. So the only thing we have going for us is to know which days we will have off, I find this unacceptable. Perhaps 1224 might be more inclined to present us with a contract to vote on if we had something closer to industry average with work rules. It’s not just about the pay, it’s about quality of life.

Remember how the contract was being held up by Business class travel 6-months ago, and that was the ONLY reason we did not have a contract. Now the ONLY reason is DW and the 20hrs? Next it will be another of the large pending items list. Smoke and mirrors....
Our union is following the rules and NOT releasing anything per the rules. When it comes time for the proffer and cool off dont think for a second that the illegal actions of the company are'nt going to weigh in heavily.
Hold the line!
