Understood. But because they would run the investigation, they could claim that some were using a VPN, etc, and they are not able to ID them.

Typical. So a company can utilize unfair tactics but they get all "lawsuitie" when the lemmings get unified.

Yeah, it is a real mystery why their culture sucks.

Isn't one of the mods here a FDX pilot? I hope he will delete any further posts if a post incites action.

What posts will incite action? If I say they are drafting for 666 on 25 June is that pressuring anyone? The union should post a link to all of the open time in the next 48 hours as a service to the membership. That way if you would rather fly extra than spend time polishing your hat you will have a single place to look for the trips available. You would also be able to see who picked it up so you can ask them their methods for getting the extra flying when you were thinking about getting that trip.

^^I think people should do what the union is asking. Use their personal discretion to do what they choose for themselves (as always), but not pressure others to do the same. That's what I got from their communication.

Is posting that trip xxx was picked up on draft pressuring others?

Nobody on here is identifying WHO picked it up. So it's not like they are being pressured.

Let me know if you find someone who disagrees, we will pressure him to conform.

I will enjoy my time off as well...what other pilots choose to do is a matter of "personal" choice

At this stage in our long process of contract negotiations EVERYBODY SHOULD know what and what not to do! It 's not rocket science gentlemen.
Fly your scheduled trips, operate the aircraft in accordance with Company and FAA regulations and guidelines, and enjoy the time off you have with your friends and family.
That's it!

Title should be: Alleged illegal job action.

However, point taken.
