Empire Airlines raise
Noticed about a month ago empires employees received about an extra 100 bucks a week in their pay. Was this a FedEx decision? Curious if anybody knew if FedEx approved this to all the feeder pilot companies like mountain air and wiggins, etc. Does anybody know? That's not bad starting pay for a caravan job. Thanks !!

About time they give you guys a litte more, my opinion they need to add a lot more than that if they want to keep you guys. Heck that was our Christmas bonus when I was at W air (another FX feeder, which was pathetic). They need to add a signing bonus or raise their starting ATR CA pay if they want to attract guys, heck even AF is doing that. I see a lot of FOs and Capt openings for the same base, has Empire cancelled flights due to lack of crews???

Agreed. Empires starting pay is now 38000 for a caravan. About time! Did the other feeders give a raise across the board? Their ATR pay is still not where it should be either seat. Especially if you have to live in CA! That being all the openings. Those feeder guys deserve more pay.

Why nothing yet for the other feeders? How can Empire raise the pay by 100 more a week and not the other feeders? Usually that is approved by FedEx. Maybe FedEx raised all feeder pay but only Empire has awarded it to their employees so far. That wouldn't be fair for the others. Anybody else have in site?
