They called me in 2007, interviewed me and put me in the pool; they haven't called back since.

Not exactly. I was in another pool at the same time and they did hire me. They pay pretty well, but not UPS money. The moral of the story is apply EVERYWHERE and only stop when you have landed where you want to be.
