Blah Blah Blah.
Every generation complains about the previous generation in the same way. I remember years ago when I joined the Air Force the “old timers” used to complain about the us the FNG’s in the same way. The Millenials, the Gen X’s, and the Baby Boomers are no different. We are all human and to have high expectations is human nature. And to whine about “the good old days” is also human nature.

Although i dont appreciate the "Melinnials are all entitled, lazy, narcissists" attitude.
I find that to be quite untrue, especially in aviation. Sure there are some in my generation that absolutely do fit this description but.... that too is true of every generation. The vast majority of us are working hard for our goals and aspirations.

Upgrade to regional CA or apply at WGA?
I'm on the verge of upgrade at my regional (not one with a flow or preferential interview)
My current plan is to upgrade, get the 1000 TPIC in the bank. Then aim for the "majors" .. if nothing doing then look into Spirit/Frontier, Atlas, etc..
however Western Global interests me because it's the type of flying I'd love- going all over the world, sometimes doing special missions like the supplies to Puerto Rico after the hurricane, or transporting endangered African animals to the U.K. OR USA for a better life, etc..
Plus the aircraft- both the 747 and the MD-11 are my top 2 dream aircraft to fly.
I saw they're doing a couple of open house job fairs this month; I'm very tempted to attend and apply
I know of I'd be putting off getting TPIC if taking a job with WGA, but I also know you only like once- they seem like a growing and good company to get on with.
