Actually, there's no arrogance here. Everyone is well aware that Amazon is a crap shoot.

I mostly was just laughing at how a majority of your posts are some wild opinion or unsubstantiated rumor designed to rattle cages.

It's mildly entertaining. Cheers!

So Shooter, what is it that you are really trying to say?

Give anyone enough time, and the truth comes out. Sounds like your a fully entrenched management troll.

If I had stayed at my first regional I would have made it to RJ Captain about a year before I went to Southern, flowed to US Air, and would be on 5th year pay at AA now, maybe sitting in the left seat of an E190.

Hindsight being 20/20, the convoluted path I took looked like a good choice at the time, but a steady course would have been better. I made it, but Southern didn't get me to the brass ring faster than driving an RJ would have. In my newhire class at UAL for every supplemental guy, there were ten RJ guys. And they were younger.

Did you guys end up getting a pay raise? Or still at the original daily rate?

Yes the new rates have gone into affect. Although the original rates included multiple qualification restrictions, during a group conference there was a longevity kicker that brought people to full pay. Multiple F/O and captains received a $100+ daily raise.

Can you post the scale for a new hire coming on the property now? Or at least list the first couple of years for FO and CA? Thanks.

Or you could get a class A CDL and drive a big rig across the country. You'll be home about the same number of nights. You'd make about the same amount of money. Plus you would save over $100,000 in training costs, and no degree required.

And you get to listen to George Strait while you're doing it.
