Latest and greatest update (means I'm repeating rumors!...lol).
ABX is continuing to hire although there will most likely be a one month gap in the 4th quarter. Classes are typically 10. Training takes a couple of months (1 day HR, 1 wk Indoc, 2 wk Systems G/S, 9 Fixed Based Sim, 7 full motion sim, Intl g/s, check ride, loft, etc.); so like any program there's a lot in there.
Flying remains at 'max' levels and will continue for the future to be that way. Yes, it will eventually level out and life won't be so hectic, but for now there's plenty of extra flying (i.e. money) out there; for those who want it and even those who don't. Therefore, until staffing levels get to their normal level of ABX low, hiring and upgrades will continue.
Amazon goes well, ABX is adding Stockton/Charlotte and the sched calls for Rockford soon. RFD will go be a thru station going east/west as well as south/west...different flights; and which airline will fly those are TBD.
ABX is intending to purchase an additional B767 simulator. It's locations is undetermined (probably either ILN or CVG). The ABX DC9 sim just went thru a visual upgrade...it's very, very nice and the ILN B767 will go thru a similar upgrade in the 4th quarter (therefore the previously mentioned gap in training...).

Hey all, I was wondering if any of the Jr. Guys could testify as to how many hours you've been crediting? When I did the sim eval the LCA made a comment that first year pay isn't very good of course but there's so much flying that you will make more. So can anyone back that up? I see and have heard a lot of flying does happen just not sure how that really relates to the pay check? Thanks!

For Sept., I'm again holding a line and it is 46 hours of block worth 68 hours. Hopefully it stays that way, but I'm fully expecting to be junior manned. Like I said, I haven't been junior manned like the others so I have it coming.
I don't care too much about trying to make money here year one, I knew that year one pay was low going in and I'd rather just be with my family. However, if you need too, it appears you can easily double year one pay. There is a lot of flying and they are way behind on crews. To double year one though, you will not be home much unless you live in a city that we overnight in. I had a busy August, but I also live in an overnight city, so I had a month where I made good money and was ome.
