Kind of curious with 10 planes coming online for amazon... How much DHL flying did ATI lose??

They are adequately staffed due to the loss of Dhl flying. It takes a while to get 10 jets into service. Typically ATSG carriers wait till after the jets arrive. Just the way our cheap ass planners do it.

One A/C (757) owned by DHL going back to DHL. Continuing to add airplanes this year. Hiring not suspended just slowing down to let training catch up. 70 Newhires so far.
I'm on IOE this is straight from the check airman.

Hopefully you're at the top of those 70. When I was furloughed by ATI there was not even a wild rumor of impending furloughs, no reduction of aircraft, in fact, they were sure they'd have a shiny new Asian contract any day and the furlough would only be a month, maybe two...it was MUCH longer.

Save your pennies and keep that resume polished.

Cut him some slack ***,,,,he's on IOE and has to be positive,,,,hopefully he gets a type rating before he gets the call from management about his impending furlough!

Food for thought: I wonder why someone would leave a paying job to come here for a type anyway.

If in doubt on the hiring call/email the person that schedules training and ask-them. I thought OGM was just fire starting too.

I guess the scheduled interviews will continue so they can swim in the ever so lucrative ATI POOL.

Classes are being cancelled hiring has stopped. > EXACTLY <as I said even though the check airmen/union trolls said no. Union IS management at ATI. First thing they tell you "no contract, no raise, not vote, dont worry about it, eat some wings"

Heard some say ATI ABX crew numbers are the exact same now and there may be a some type merger scare going on. Doubt it..
