Default ATI suspends hiring

Heard it this week while in ILN.

This probably does the industry a favor.

Is this due to Atlas getting Amazon flying?

Lmao well OGM you're about to be a victim of your own predictions.....

Oh BTW I've seen these little surge growths many times here. They usually pan out to a Dec-Jan furlough so I'd do your Christmas shopping now FYI!!!

Also could be due to the fact you lost all of your DHL flying.

That seems to be the latest....I know DHL has removed (it was a DHL a/c to start with) 1 B757 from service and I've heard it's going to be redeployed with a South American carrier. To ditto MC's statement; the rumor out there is DHL is done with B757 U.S. flying.

While I have no reason to doubt what you say, DHL loves the 757 in Europe. I wonder why they would not have a spot for it in the CONUS?

We all know ATI is total different company from Abx, but this reduction of flying could also be extended to Abx and affect hiring? Or a future furlough?
(Who has a crystal ball?) 😎🤔
Thanks

None planned at ABX........hey MEC you should have jumped onboard while you could have.....guess you didn't care about preserving seniority at ATI. Boston is gone very very soon.

We're still really short on crews but who knows. The flying keeps coming. We don't just do DHL and Amazon.
