True statement and its all speculation.

Personally if I was brown or purple Id suck up ATSG. No offense but a small acquisition for someone of that size.

Lots of ATLAS/ATSG rumors floating everywhere but no so much on this board. What a union nightmare. Probably be ruled and ACMI monopoly.

All moves are a net positive and I haven't seen that in this industry in 36+yrs. Tides float or ground all boats as the saying goes.

Keep in mind, when UPS acquires, they shed the employees of new company keeping only routes, hubs, and equipment. Ask any CAC guy....

And that would benefit them how, exactly? What does ATSG have that either of them would want?

...small carriers that have something of value to UPS. UPS could spend years getting operating rights in Latin America, or they can just buy the company that already has them.

And shed the employees and equipment if there really were a market to be had.

ATSG is a viable ACMI carrier, but are hardly viewed in any segment as anything other than that.

CAC was infested with Eastern scabs and other unsuitables.

They'd corner Amazon for a period of time.

Atlas can't man the aircraft and with this litigation and further attrition it won't change.

I know for a fact that CVG hub has been the topic of many a meetings there. Don't know many at purple but we could safely assume the same.
