An average would be pretty meaningless. It varies between zero and a lot. They hired a lot in the last year or so, seems to have cooled off recently but that may be down to lack of sim availability.

it’s not that hard to look at the updated seniority list each month and compare to the prior downloads. Oh, and yes, I was here by the way. Frankly, length of service has little to do with it. Anybody can take the time and make the effort to ask questions and learn the history of a company.

18 with DOH before the new CBA are off the list in the past year and a half since the new CBA came in if you want the actual number. Doesn’t include those not completing training or IOE. That does include retirements. Factual enough?

How often would you say schedules are being stacked back to back or is that very rare? Meaning would being on a 32-36 reserve day stint ever happen?

Also what’s the typical time gone during those 16-18 days?

Thanks.

Back to back hasn't happened to me, yet. I'm pretty new, but I get the impression that it's rare. Time gone varies, as with all things. I would not take the job if you're not going to be ok with being gone 16 every month with the occasional 18. That said, things have been pretty slow for me since IOE. I would guess maybe averaging 12? Something like that.

Twelve consecutively or typically spaced?

I've had both. Consecutive seems more common. As above if you're not going to be happy doing your 16 consecutively, month in, month out, making guarantee, I would keep looking.

At Omni typically spaced is 16 or 18 on consecutive 12 off consecutive or 8 on 12 off 10 on. If it’s a split line.

There is enough schedule variety so that rarely happens except on purpose, by mistake, fresh out of training and they build a line, or failing to bid. It can and does happen though.

It’s currently rare to work all 18 dats except for special programs. Days 17 & 18 come with significant pay over rides so they avoid using you unless they really have to. Next year we drop from 18/12 days to 17/13 days.
