if Omni chooses to use the Company B777 FTD at TCC for the evaluation. Just know the fidelity of the device is such that it is impossible to fly it to ATP standards, so do the best you can. Be professional in your call outs and commands, but don’t let the device frustrate you. Probably a Takeoff, Climb, Hold, ILS, maybe a situational question on how long you can hold. My opinion The FTD truly is a piece or “work” if they can get it to turn ON. Just remember, if your invited to the interview Omni wants to hire you. Don’t screw it up saying something questionable and don’t try and hide your professional past. They will find out eventually and have no problem removing an individual from class for omitting relevant work history. Good luck.

Just out of curiosity, but does anyone know why they are interviewing again as there are people in the pool waiting for a class date? Is it fleet expansion, resignations or retirements?

Anyone who knows lives in Tulsa (or, ok, maybe Ohio) and has a corner office. My guess would be that it's to staff the airplanes we already have coming, although rumors abound. In any case, while I don't think they're morally above hiring-until-firing, they wouldn't be incurring the associated costs if they didn't anticipate needing butts in seats, and they're not stupid people.

congrats and welcome. You’ll enjoy it. It’s a very good place to be. Class should be sometime next month if what I heard was accurate.

Has anyone who interviewed last week heard anything yet? They told my group we'd most likely hear at the beginning of this week.

If good news is going out to guys, and we haven't heard anything yet, I am starting to get a sinking feeling. It will be too bad if the news is bad, it was a nice interview and seems like a good group of folks over there. The flying seems to be very fun too.
